All that is explained in my review. Horrible service. Needs improvement because this experience has turned me off from buying directly from Simplehuman.

The trashcan didn't close right I took it back to the company they said to contact you, and you can send one for me how I can talk to person without writing to show them that trashcan or send picture

My sensor mirror stopped lighting up after 10 months of a 5 year warranty. After going through numerous emails to prove it was defective, I was offered a refurbished replacement.
This is not acceptable. I tried multiple times to establish a chat but no one ever started one, just wrote we will be with you in a few moments. I was informed by email that they no longer talk on the phone. Im pretty sure that the emails are all artificial intelligence since they use coined phrases,and dont answer all your questions.
They finally said I could send the mirror to a different address, they would try and fix it, and if not would send me a refurbished one. I have tried to get them to agree to send a new one if they cant fix mine but now I get zero return emails.
What has happened to Simplehuman? The customer service used to be so good!

I haven’t heard from them about the finish on my garbage can yet.
The finish is coming off on my trash can. The only thing I have every cleaned it with is vinegar mixed in 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water.Serial#A9061****.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. SH replaced the trash can..customer service reply took about a month but I am happy them finally replaced my item.
I have already ordered a new $200 trash can. It came today and has severe damage
SH accepted my warranty and sent me a new lid (I had previously told them and sent photographs that a new lid wouldn't resolve the issue).
I received the new lid and it doesn't resolve the issue. Ive tried numerous ways to communicate with SH all have failed. They NO longer take telephone calls from customers and won't return chat or emails. This company has worked so hard to obtain stellar customer service and a loyal customer base to let it all go down the drain.
I purchased a new trash can ($200) but I still want my old one replaced.
I completely agree with other reviews if you can't communicate with a company find one you can. They have competition now so wake and at least communicate with loyal customers.

My husband bought the sensor/talking trashcan, liners, & deodorizers for me for Christmas. We decided to return because where we had to put the can was in a high traffic area and the can was much smaller than we thought it would be.
The lid kept opening and closing when someone walked by. Upon returning everything, we put the 2 boxes of liners and one package of deodorizers inside the can so there would only be one box to return. The box the trashcan was returned in, which also contained the liners & deodorizers, was secure. And, as instructed by Simplehuman, the box included the sheet of paper, showing what was being returned, when delivered to FedX.
They said they received the trashcan but not the liners & deodorizers and would only credit us for $227.00 instead of full amount of $275.00. The CS Rep kept saying when they receive the other items they will credit us for them. I ask them, did they understand the items were inside the trashcan? I told her if you received the can back, you should have received the other items too.
She said the warehouse said they didn't receive the liners or deodorizers back. I told her I feel like that's impossible, because we put them inside the trashcan. If you received the trashcan back you should have received the liners and deodorizers back too. They still would not credit us the full amount.
Maybe someone else took them out.
But I can't image who would have opened a $200.00+ trashcan that was in a taped box filled with cardboard to protect the can and remove the trashcan liners and deodorizers only. Oh well, such is life!
User's recommendation: Make sure you want what you buy from them and don't count on returning for a full refund.

Terrible customer service
I ordered an item over the weekend and when I got the confirmation email, I realized that it was the wrong color item. I had ordered white they decided I wanted chrome.
I then contacted them informing them of the problem so that they would not send the wrong item which I would then have to return. The email I got back was from a BOT who couldn't handle the problem and of course today I received the wrong item. I tried to contact this company which has no phone service and offers you texting or chat. Texting was completely useless.
It was answered by a computer that told me to return the item and the chat service never once answered me.
In the end I am returning the items and will never buy from this company again. A company that offers no customer service and makes you do all the work.

OMG, can I tell you do not ever ever buy a product from them? We spent a ton of money to get two mirrors.
One of them doesn't work. All I asked was that they send a replacement they made me take a video no one has ever called me nor will they call me because you can't speak to a real person, it is the worst company

I need help with my product that fell off the wall n broke
My triple unit of shampoo, conditioner and soap fell off the wall and broke and shattered two of the units and the third one in the middle just the lid broke. I have tried reaching out to the company by phone and it keeps hanging up on me. I try to chat and they want to meet up put my card in for a dollar which I will not do so Im not a happy client at the moment.

I ordered a replacement lid for one of my garbage cans. It was supposed to contain two fastener pins to hold the lid to the garbage can well it didnt have them.
I have now written for emails or submission forms to them. I have tried to use their text feature, and for two days I have tried their chat feature, which is a total joke with no response yet .
